Welcome to the Harriman Pond website. This website is meant for the homeowners around Harriman Pond to celebrate our unique lake and be a repository of resources to help protect our special pond and the properties around it.
Harriman Pond is located between Bald Mountain and the little village of North Orland, in Hancock County, Maine. Harriman Pond sits near the top of the watershed that ultimately feeds into the Union River and Branch Lake and is in the top 10% of lakes in the state in terms of water quality because so many the homeowners have taken such good care of the pond over the years.
We hope that you can use this website to show how special Harriman Pond is many of us on the lake. It is our hope the information on this site could help us all to enhance water quality and the livability of the lake environment and be able respond to threats to the watershed’s health and well-being.
